If vegans had a dollar for each time they got asked that one…we’d be rich! But all joking aside, protein intake is often top of the list when it comes to questions about plant-based diets.
Now, more than ever, many athletes, from professional surfers to wrestlers, are not only cutting back on animal protein, but eliminating these proteins altogether.
OneGreenPlant.org recently released their list of top 10 plant-based athletes and it’s pretty inspiring.
These unstoppable forces of nature are awesome examples of the power of plant based foods. Easily supplying the nutritional requirements to fuel our bodies, even the most elite athletes are able to survive and thrive without consuming animal products to do it.
